E-commerce project

During my final year at NC State, I took an E-commerce class which had a final project that required a group of students to design and implement a mock e-commerce website using server-side scripting and mysql. The site had to also implement cookies and a shopping cart mechanism through which customers could purchase the items advertised. Another additional feature that was required was to have the ability to generate an xml version of a customer's outstanding orders that conforms to a specific schema.

My group did not contain the most creative of the class so our "company" name is a bit lame and we didn't really "sell" any amazing products. The site is entirely php/mysql driven and is pretty much exactly as we presented it at the end of the semester.

OUI Lookup

I have found other sites that allow you to search for a vendor based on a MAC address, but I decided to make my own. It is nothing fancy, but I don't have the sense to bookmark a site that does this and I am tired of searching for them on google. I figured it would be easy enough and this way I know where it is. Records were updated last on 01/06/2003.

SIMP protocol dissector

I wrote an Ethereal/Wireshark protocol dissector for the Secure Instant Messaging Protocol (SIMP) application. It isn't exactly beautiful, but it is functional. I would appear as though the creators are no longer around, so this is even less usefull than before.
